St Mellion Golf
This is a new event proposed for October 2023.
We have been invited by the organisers to enter a team in an inter counties captain’s society event to take place at St Mellion Golf Club on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th October 2023 (- very much like the very popular teams of 12 at Saunton, playing for the Saunton Salver).
We have expressed an interest but the final decision will depend on if sufficient members of Somerset Golf Captains wish to take part. We need a team of 12 (with some reserves).
The competition would be two days of golf on the Nicklaus and Kernow courses at St Mellion GC,
with bacon rolls,tea and coffee on arrival.
St Mellion Pro shop will take charge of player registration / card administration and Countrywide Golf Holidays will orchestrate the tour.
The cost of the tour would include one night accommodation at St Mellion Golf and Country Club, breakfast and two evening meals with a presentation and prizes at a cost of £220 per person.
(There are options to stay a further night if required)
