SGC Captains Weekend Away – Cotswold Hotel & Spa – 28th & 29th September 2024
Following the introduction of the Captains Weekend Away to the SGC events, please find details below of this year`s get together at the Cotswold Hotel & Spa, my chosen venue for this year. The event is designed to accommodate Somerset Past Captains and their other halves and even though the event will be over the two days and one night, should you wish to extend your stay with additional nights, please feel free to do so.
The following gives you an overview of what we think might be possible and we would be grateful if you could let us know if you might be interested.
Dates: 28th September 2024 – 30th September 2024
Package A: 1 night, 2 rounds, 3-course dinner from our a la carte menu, bed and breakfast
Arrival Date: Saturday 28th September 2024
The price for golfers would be £176.10pp based on two people sharing and £236.10pp based on single occupancy.
The price for non-golfers would be £166.10pp based on two people sharing and £226.10pp based on single occupancy.
Package C: 2 nights, 3 rounds, 3 course dinner from our a la carte menu, bed and breakfast
Arrival Date: Saturday 28th September 2024
The price for golfers would be £296.00pp based on two people sharing and £376.00pp based on single occupancy.
The price non-golfers would be £276.00pp based on two people sharing and £356.00pp based on single occupancy.
Tee Times:
Saturday 28th September @ Sunday 29th September
Other activities
There are many local places of interest locally.
Once I know who the non-golfers are I can suggest places to visit.
Way Forward
1. Expressions of Interest: I would like to gauge how many people might be interested, so
that we can make an informed decision about whether to proceed or not. If you are interested, please email me, Mike Rossiter using my email address which is rossomj1954@gmail.com – Reply by end of April.
2. Decision to go ahead or not: At the end of April, the Committee will decide whether
to go ahead or not, depending on the number of people who have expressed interest as
above.
3. Deposits; If the event goes paid to Mike: BAC 09-01-27 98655768. NON GOLFERS £10 discount pp per day.
4. Final payments: The hotel will require balancing payments …………..
