Captains teams from 9 counties contested the 2nd year of the inter counties challenge at St Mellion.
Play on the two courses the easier Kernow and the very hard Nicklaus was on both courses both days.
Day one was wet, raining on and off, all day. Day two the weather was much improved with a breeze and sunshine. However, play was officially delayed on day one due to the forecast rain and the fact that at St Mellion it had been raining hard for several days beforehand and the courses were really wet with a lot of standing and casual water.
The Captain of Captains, Mike Rossiter led so well in his inimitable fashion and made sure the team were “happy and motivated” especially in the evenings.
Missing from the photo at the end of the second day is Neil Whistler who had to leave early.
