Dear Captain
The rearranged Spring meeting will take place at Enmore Park Golf Club on Friday 24th May 2024.
We invite Captains who were going to play earlier this month in the cancelled match or who now wish to play to express an interest.
Tee times will be from 1030 with capacity for 64 players (8 tee times on each tee) with the last tee times at 1140.
The organiser for this event is Ian Gover.
ACTION
To book a slot for golf, please send an email to admin@somersetgolfcaptains.co.uk – stating your preference for tee times and whether you wish to enter with another Captain. Please do not assume that as you entered the cancelled meeting your booking will be moved forward, you need to send another booking email.
Captains can, of course, enter individually (in which case I will allocate partners) or as a pair. Please note that the Committee has asked me to remind all Captains that these internal meetings should enable you all to mix and meet other Captains. Previous winners are specifically asked not to play with the same partner again.
The previous tee sheet will be redrawn to accommodate any changes.
COSTS
The price for the day is £45 to include bacon rolls and coffee before, a round of golf, a two course meal and prizes.
If you were going to play in April and have already paid for the cancelled Spring meeting then the money can be used for this event.
If you were not going to play in the meeting arranged for April then you will need to pay £45 by BACS to “Somerset Golf
Captains” Sort Code 30-91-84 – Account Number 00684170. In the “Reference” box, please put Spring.
If you are not available for the rearranged match and paid, your money can either be repaid or held on account to pay for another match.
Please let me know in your email which payment avenue you wish to follow and I will make sure that the Treasurer has the information.
