Sadly we have been informed that Raymond Smith, Past Captain and Past President of Wells Golf Club died yesterday, Friday 19th March 2021.
Ray had been a terrific asset to Wells Golf Club and a great supporter of our Somerset Golf Captains.
Although health issues had prevented him playing over past couple of years he was a staunch supporter and presence in the club.
We send our condolences to Ray’s family, and indeed to all his friends and associates at Wells Golf Club.
