All of the teams for our inter County Matches this season have now been posted and emailed to the players selected.
The team is posted against the fixture for which they are selected.
We intend to post the final team as a news item, about two weeks before the actual match.
This will reflect any substitutions, and allow those selected, the opportunity to arrange mutual transport with a local fellow Captain in the team.
It is a tradition of Somerset Golf captains, for HOME matches, to invite the current Club Captain to lead out with our Captain of Captains.

The Selection Panel on Friday 20th April completed the selection of all the teams for the season, from the requests for selection which had been received to date.
The panel have tried to share out playing opportunities as fairly as possible in line with the requests for each fixture.
In each case there is an identified MATCH MANAGER for the fixture and they then takes responsibility for that fixture
- Replacement team members if necessary
- Pairings
- Collection of £30 Match Fees
- Photographs from the day
- Match report of the day
The Committee continued this feature from last season to spread the workload of organising and maximise playing opportunities.
Please assist the Match Manager in any way you can.
Selected players are asked to contact the MATCH MANAGER, as soon as possible after notification, to confirm their availability. This leaves time for replacements, should they prove necessary, to be organised.
