Somerset Golf Captains are very sorry to hear of the death of former Burnham and Berrow Captain Tony Hill on 27th December 2025. Tony was also a Past President of SGU, the EGU and Burnham and Berrow as well as being a Somerset County stalwart for many years in the times of Dick Champion and George Irlam.
Our sincere condolences go to Tony’s family at this sad time.
Tony’s funeral will take place at St Michael’s Church, Brent Knoll, Somerset, TA9 4DG on Thursday 15 January at 1:30 p.m. Additional parking will be provided for the service in a nearby field off Hill Lane.
Following the service, a private cremation will take place, attended by the family.
The family welcome all to join them for a reception at The Red Cow, 134 Brent St, Brent Knoll, Highbridge TA9 4BE.
