It is with great regret that we have to report that Trevor Holman, past Captain at Wells Golf Club, has recently passed away at the grand old age of 97. Trevor was President of Somerset Golf Captains between 1997 and 2000 and Captain of Captains in 1982.
Trevor’s funeral will be taking place on Friday 26th May at 1.30pm at Mendip Crematorium and Somerset Golf Captains will be represented, amongst others, by our President, Roy Parmiter, as is customary for past Presidents and Captains of Captains of SGC. We send our condolences to Trevor’s family at this sad time and those who were fortunate enough to have met him and played with him will remember him fondly.
